12 Giu Internationalisation: a new lease on life for Made in Italy firms
Italian business needs a new impetus in order to effect an efficient turn-around that will allow it to leave the economic crisis behind and embark upon renewed evolution. An impetus that can come from a new vision of business, a vision that must absolutely be an international one. The key concept here has to be internationalisation. But a word alone is not enough, and landing on foreign shores is not as simple as it sounds. One has to take account of laws that differ from ours, bureaucracy that is sometimes even more of a thicket than ours can be, customs and habits we have to understand and make our own in order to be successful.
There is very little room for error and none whatsoever for improvisation. It is only by comparing ourselves with foreign firms and via specific knowledge and awareness that we can embark on a truly fruitful process of internationalisation.
EXPO 2015 is, without a doubt, the best opportunity we have right now for interacting with foreign countries and, thanks to it, Italian companies will be able to gain experience and worldly knowledge without even having to go abroad!
