Giuseppe Colonna, lawyer and Senior Consultant at Studio Martelli & Partners, possesses specific expertise in civil law and, in particular, in insurance law and liability, compensation and protection of the individual.

He deals with all aspects relating to the insurance contract, from accident to life insurance, as well as the distribution of insurance contracts (relationships with agents and brokers in particular).

Over the years Giuseppe Colonna has acquired particular expertise in:
car insurance, including, among others, accidents occurring abroad – in Germany, France and Brazil – or caused by foreign vehicles in Italy
professional liability (including, in particular, for doctors, lawyers, notaries, magistrates and brokers)
sports liability insurance
hunting liability insurance
manufacturer’s liability insurance

He has studied the legal issues relating to claims techniques, management of claims prior to litigation, as well as relations with IVASS (Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority) and the main activities of the Supervisory Body.
